Addressing critical deterioration within an aging podium, Alder delivered a comprehensive remediation and upgrade to restore structural integrity and enhance resident amenities. Works targeted failing membranes and construction joints that had caused movement and cracking across driveway and landscaped areas.
The project involved demolition of existing surfaces and full reinstatement of waterproofing across the podium, along with concrete remediation, new screeds, paving and resurfacing of access roadways and stairs. Landscaping was extensively upgraded, including new irrigation systems, feature lighting, planter walls and garden beds, alongside refurbishment of the pool area and replacement of fencing to the pool cabana.
Alder staged and coordinated construction to maintain access for residents and guests while minimising disruption. Specialist waterproofing systems were implemented to meet long-term performance requirements, and the project was delivered ahead of schedule, demonstrating strong planning and execution within a live environment.
