The award-winning building showcased a 360-degree amphitheatre, a suspended circular room enclosed in switchable glass, and a series of cantilevered reading booths. Complex construction elements included curved brickwork with back-lit aluminium louvres, circular staircases and slab voids, seamless acoustic ceilings, and custom cabinetry for 3D printing. The use of writable wall finishes and curved Corian stonework further enhanced the innovative interior.
Situated adjacent to the school’s drop-off zone and operational facilities, the project demanded meticulous planning and safety coordination to minimise disruption. 2018 Master Builders Regional Award Winner.
