To support frontline emergency services in one of Logan’s busiest corridors, Alder delivered a new purpose-built ambulance station in Springwood, replacing the existing facility on Vanessa Boulevard. Delivered as a design and construct project for the Queensland Government, the new station was designed to enhance operational readiness, incorporating vehicle bays, a dedicated wash area, storage and a plant room, alongside a modern building with training spaces, administration areas, kitchen and dining facilities, and staff accommodation.

Working within a constrained site environment, the project required careful planning to navigate overhead powerlines and a tight building footprint along the boundaries. Alder coordinated complex lifting operations and material handling within the restricted layout, while maintaining strong collaboration with key authorities including QFES, NBN and Logan Water to meet compliance requirements and achieve occupancy milestones.
