The works completed the missing section of Oliver Avenue between Holland Street and Pineapple Road, creating a vital link for future economic growth.

The project included construction of a 700-metre industrial collector road, a single-span bridge over Tucki Tucki Creek, and two large retaining walls up to seven metres high. Additional works involved a new four-way roundabout under live traffic, upgrades to the existing Bruxner Highway roundabout, and a 69-bay carpark built to TfNSW specifications. Bulk earthworks of approximately 35,000m³ were undertaken, with 5,000 tonnes of oversize rock crushed onsite and reused. Council-owned land was filled to enable future industrial lots.

Alder also exceeded NSW Aboriginal Procurement Policy targets, achieving 3.4% Indigenous workforce participation and engaging five Indigenous businesses, including a Supply Nation-certified crane hire company. The project supported local employment, with 14.6% of the workforce drawn from the Lismore area, alongside female and apprentice participation. In total, 377 workers contributed to the successful delivery of this transformative project.
