Project value has been adjusted to reflect approximate current-day value as at 2025, based upon industry recognised construction indexation published by Rawlinson.

Stage 1 involved the construction of multiple retail buildings, with Alder contributing to the design of awning structures, timber decking, glazing, and lighting. Stage 2 followed with additional tenancies and car park infrastructure, continuing the development’s momentum and exceeding client expectations.

Across both stages, the design incorporated combinations of tilt-up panels and lightweight wall frames with rendered expanded polystyrene cladding. Cantilevered structural steel awnings with Alutri composite aluminium soffits were installed around building perimeters, along with standalone awnings in the car park. Stage 1 featured suspended lightweight floors over a steep embankment, large rainwater tanks reticulated to toilets and landscaping, and extensive glass bi-fold doors for restaurant tenancies. Stage 2 added feature tiling, retaining walls, a loading dock, and partial fitout of the IGA supermarket, coordinated to allow early trade commencement.

Alder’s proactive design involvement and rigorous site management ensured the seamless delivery of this multi-phase retail precinct.
