The project features a new 5,000m² multi-level office complex, extensive site upgrades, and integration with a refurbished 3,000m² warehouse. Now home to over 200 Energex field, design, and project staff, the facility also includes 130 light vehicle spaces and capacity for nearly 80 response vehicles.
The redevelopment involved significant construction and infrastructure works, including land remediation, bulk earthworks, and the relocation of overhead powerlines underground. The multi-level structure comprises lower ground work areas, a ground-level entry and office, and two suspended slabs for parking and upper-level offices. High-quality internal finishes include acoustic panels, timber veneer feature entries, operable walls, and extensive glazing. Externally, the site was enhanced with solar panels, architectural screening, landscaping, and streetscape beautification. A robust community engagement strategy ensured minimal disruption throughout construction.
