Project Highlights

Delivered the full design and construction of a purpose-built facility combining animal rehoming, welfare, administration and ranger operations.

A purpose‑built animal rehoming facility was developed to support community and council services, providing safe, functional spaces for the care, assessment and rehoming of animals across the region.

Completed across a site exceeding 20,000 square metres, works included the full design and construction of facilities for both small and large animals, incorporating dog and cat housing, quarantine and assessment areas, livestock holding zones and exercise yards, alongside ranger offices, depot facilities and administration spaces. Additional works comprised installation of new services infrastructure, car parking, a vehicle impound area, concrete footpaths and site landscaping across a large multi‑zone site. Delivered through a collaborative design process involving multiple user groups, the project required careful planning, approvals management and staged delivery, with Alder coordinating concurrent construction zones to achieve an efficient and functional outcome.
