The seven-storey PCA A-grade building includes 4,000m² of premium commercial office space, 156m² of ground-floor retail, SOHO-style offices, two levels of basement parking, and a rooftop terrace. The project was delivered on a logistically complex site, requiring detailed staging, traffic management, and high levels of community engagement. Sustainable design was prioritised through the use of locally sourced materials, including Cementaid waterproofing technology.
The York created over 100 construction jobs and now houses more than 200 Logan City Council employees. Alder’s commitment to social impact was demonstrated through partnerships with RedRock Recruitment and Beenleigh State High School, resulting in 14 Indigenous workers engaged and 11 students completing practical construction placements. With $4.3 million awarded to local subcontractors, the project delivered significant economic and social value to the Logan region.
